Thalassemia International Day Celebrations

On May 8th, 2015, on the occasion of the Thalassemia International Day, the famous artist Georges Khabbaz joined our young Thalassemic, their medical team and their parents in celebration for this day: a presentation of the importance of adherence to treatment by Dr. Suzanne Koussa, Georges Khabbaz shared a personal inspiring story with the children of the Center encouraging them as he did to discover their talents throughout their chronic diseases while adhering to treatment, prize distribution for 3 transfusion dependent adolescents patients having the best Ferritin Level, sketches, sharing jokes with young Thalassemic, photos selfies, gathering around a brunch and cutting the cake.
