The 24th Summer Camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes in Achout
From 18 to 21 July 2024, the Chronic Care Center held its 24th summer camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes in Achout. It included 30 children age 9-12 years. A great team of young leaders in Diabetes, nurses, social workers insured their safety and enjoyment. We aimed to bring a change in their life, to help them cope better with their condition and empower them with practical knowledge.
They shared experiences with a peer group and had fun.
