The Chronic Care Center is a medico-social institution, specialized in the treatment and follow-up of childhood chronic diseases: Thalassemia and Type I Diabetes.

The Annual Summer Camp at Dar El Sadaka, at Zahle
From 26 till 30 June 2019, 30 young of our children with diabetes accompanied by two nurses educators Pascale and Claude followed by Colette, Bob, Maya our social worker and Joanna our dietician and 7 monitors with Type 1 Diabetes "the young leaders" participated in the annual Center's Summer Camp.
The youngster enjoyed all sports activities for a good lifestyle: recreational animations, instructive and fun games, educational sessions for a healthy eating with outdoor activities, cycling and swimming, cultural exchanges and collective educational games, ending it with a cheerful goodbye play and dance prepared by the children and presented to their parents in a very joyful spirit.
"The young leaders" who volunteered their time took good care of our new generation, an example to follow.
