The Chronic Care Center is a medico-social institution, specialized in the treatment and follow-up of childhood chronic diseases: Thalassemia and Type I Diabetes.

The President of the IDF Sir Hirst visited the Chronic Care Center

On October 19, 2015; the President of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Sir Michael Hirst, visited the Chronic Care Center, member of this international federation since 2013.
Sir Hirst met with members of the Board of Trustees and the President of the Center, Mrs. Mouna Haraoui. He made a tour of the different clinics in the Diabetes service and convened with Doctors, paramedical team, patients and parents.
Sir Hirst had a very interesting encounter with youngsters with Type I Diabetes. He acknowledged the importance of the triangle of care of the Center: medical team, patients and parents.
Sir Hirst supported people with diabetes by giving us his hand print.
He was very impressed by the testimonial of the youngster patients and their ability to cope with their chronic condition for a healthy better life.
